Phobya Universal Pump Mounting Socket (Eheim, Magicool, Laing)
This aluminum pump base not only allows a very simple and quick installation of the pump, but dampens the vibrations of the pump significantly. Resonances with PC cases can be reduced as effectively or even prevented completely.
The pump is bolted on to the enclosed decoupler Alusockel. The Alusockel can then use the special Velcro mat which is covered on both sides with very strong adhesive glue, in the PC case for example be mounted on the floor. Through this technique, a 3-optimal decoupling is guaranteed. The decoupling buffer to reduce the vibrations of Alusockel swallows the rest of the vibrations and the Velcro tape prevents the transfer of any residual vibrations to the housing.
