This pump is the world's first pump which is used in mass-produced water-cooled workstations, and is ideal for water cooling of processors and suitable electronic components. Because of its size and output can also be used in a variety of applications.
This DC pump is an electronically commutated spherical motor pump, with running times of well over 50,000 hours at 12 volts. The only moving part in a spherical motor pump is a spherical shaped rotor / impeller, which is supported on an ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramics bearing ball. A conventional shaft with shaft bearings and shaft seals does not exist. The spherical bearing of the rotor / impeller on the ceramics bearing ball provides a variety of benefits: a rise of clearance - and thus a noise increase - is not possible on principle. The pump is so quiet over the entire term. The bearing is self-adjusting. It is lubricated directly by the delivery medium (wet rotor). Servicing deleted it. Since the rotor is always held magnetically in the intended position, smaller dirt particles are not a problem Blocking
the pump is usually not possible. Even after long periods of inactivity a safe start-up is given. It is powered permanent magnet rotor / impeller unit of a magnetic field from the surrounding stator
produced. This is built round completely remove the rotor. The entire pump is thus with 38 mm is only slightly higher than the stator itself and fits so easily into all conventional PC, Barebone and Mini PC cases. A separate magnetic shielding is not normally
necessary. The spherical motor principle enables an economical enterprise with comparatively high achievements. By voltage variation, the DDC
regulated DC pump easily and over a wide power range. All wetted parts are completely corrosion resistant.
