Koolance (patent-pending) quick disconnect no-spill coupling with automatic shutoff. 10mm (3/8") ID male hose barb with clamp. It will only fit any Koolance VL3N female shutoff valve.

After a quarter twist, the quick-disconnect fittings will separate. Liquid on both sides will be automatically obstructed with only 0.2mL freed. Fittings are nickel-plated brass. Maximum operating pressure is 6kgf/cm2 (85 psi). Maximum operating temperature is 90C.

Important note regarding use of the connectors:
To ensure a tight seal between coupling and plug the units are designed for a very tight fit. When repeatedly plugging the connectors in and out, this may lead to roughening of the O-ring or even tearing of the gasket. Hence the gaskets should always be kept moist when plugging the connection in or out! A torn gasket is not covered by the warranty but is rather caused by incorrect use of the unit. Spare O-rings can be ordered with the item number 95002.

Please note: Should you use different versions, such as VL3 to VL2 or VL3N to VL3, you may damage your O-rings, resulting in a leaky connection. Please also be careful to align the plug and coupling when inserting to avoid damage to the O-rings of the plug. If you damage your O-rings by improper handling it is not covered by the warranty!
