NexXos is back! The newest generation of graphics card water blocks from Alphacool is here, making this cooling sector more affordable for everyone.

Copper is the basis of any good water block, sure, being the metal with the best thermal conductivity after silver. Now to the next step in development: How to get the most cooling performance possible from the water block? A low residual material thickness to give the least resistance to heat transfer to the coolant. Less than 5mm of thickness at the contact points is almost like pouring the coolant directly over the heat source.

Flow resistance is the next point which has to be considered: Depending on fin density and channel depth, these factors also influence the price of the water block. Higher flow rates mean better cooling performance; a high fin density locally improves cooling but increases the flow resistance. Deep channels allow good flow rates but also cause significant material cost, an important factor with copper water blocks.

Having considered all of these factors, Alphacool has developed an optimized overall concept: Low material cost with a 9mm thick cooling plate and hence affordable prices, optimized fins and channels for maximum flow for maximum cooling performance of the whole cooling loop.

This water block hence is a very affordable and well-balanced water block which is perfect for all kinds of water cooling systems. Of course the water block is SLI/Crossfire capable, making it perfect for Multi-GPU operation.

The optical design of the water block is timeless with Copper and Acetal. To create an uniform look, the mounting screws are copper plated and the screw plugs are equipped with a black surface finish. Even the Alphacool logo is coated in copper for a matching optical design!

The water block is shipped with mounting screws as well as thermal compound and –pads, everything you will need is included! A multi-lingual (EN, GER, FR) mounting manual and tools allow easy installation of the water block on your graphics card.

And the best thing is:
The water block is shipped in vacuum packaging. This allows the customer to see at one glance that the water block is factory-fresh and that it has not stained from storage.
Another great thing about these water blocks are the many different versions. The layout of the water block is shown in the image gallery. We also recommend to put the water block onto the graphics card for a compatibility check before opening the protective foil!
Should the water block actually not fit, you may return it to us and we, if the vacuum packaing is unopened, will refund you the full price!
