Scythe KAMA Panel Black Ref: SCKMPN-1000-BK Scythe's Kama Panel is quite simply the most feature rich 5¼" panel we have ever seen. As well as bringing USB, Firewire and Audio ports to the front of the system, the panel also has a 12-in-1 card reader and E-SATA. The panel also allows the user to control up to six 3-pin fans. There is even a nice blue glow to the dials that control the fans. The Kama Reader is also capable of housing a slim optical drive (not supplied). Once the bottom four fan controllers have been removed the slim optical drive can be installed in their place. A special printed circuit board (supplied) adapts the socket on the back of the slim optical drive to a standard IDE (ATAPI) connector so it can easily be connected to your motherboard. This is why the Kama Reader is so popular: it has everything except the kitchen sink!
