Aquacomputer AquagratiX For HD 5870 And HD 5850 (RV870) G1/4 - Nickel Plated

Just in time for the release of the new Radeon HD5850 and 5870 graphics card Aqua Computer introduces the perfect cooling solution: The aquagratix for HD 5850 and HD 5870 features lightweight and compact design in combination with new features. These include the specially treated, mirror-finish cooling surfaces as well as the new micro-structure cooling core and the double-sided connection threads.

The aquagratix for HD5850 and HD 5870 was based on the design of the popular and proven graphics card waterblocks from Aquacomputer and now includes additional new features. With these features Aquacomputer has included the very most of customer requirements and demands.

New cooling structure:
The cooling structure of the waterblock is now 3x finer. It was still designed to offer an extremely low flow resistance, which was also realized by using up to 50mm wide channels inside of the waterblock.

Optimized polished contact surfaces:
The important contact surfaces of the waterblock are now polished and extremely plane thanks to a new process. This allows precise and optimum contact to all cooled components. The same process was also used on all important visible copper surfaces.

Double-sided connectivity:
To allow maximum flexibility the connection threads of this waterblock are now machined into both the top and bottom of the waterblock. Therefor this waterblock is perfect for Multi-GPU use and also makes connection of the cooling loop much easier. Seal plugs for the unused threads are included.

Minimized dimensions and weight: The aquagratix for HD 5850 and HD 5870 is perfectly adapted for use on the graphics card. All material that is not required is being elaborately machined to allow extremely low thicknesses in the cooling areas for maximum performance. This allows an all-copper waterblock which channels the coolant over all important areas of the graphics card, fits perfectly and puts little strain on the graphics card thanks to it's low weight. It also must be noted that it is much easier to manufacture a heavy and bulky waterblock than a light high-tech block such as this one!

Integrated spacers: For easy and uncomplicated installation we have integrated spacers made from insulative plastic into the cooling plate of the waterblock. The waterblock must therefore ismply be tightened until these spacers contact the PCB-done! This allows a safe installation and makes cooler replacement much easier.

Highest-grade materials: The used materials are the basis for success of any waterblock. Therefore the aquagratix for HD 5850 and HD 5870 is made from electrolytically purified and vented copper. The seals are made from NBR, a proven industrial material Made in Germany. The top-plate is made from V2A 1.4301, also Made in Germany. The connection terminal uses only highest-grade Plexiglas made by Degussa. Trust in quality Made in Germany
